I saw a need to contribute to local government after the current CCM took another position. Focusing on our children in all facets of their ability to thrive. Secondly growth that is done smartly, without special interest influence. Lastly, fiscal responsibility on how and where the monies are spent. I pride myself on flattened communication, accessibility to the public and all constituents, and not accepting the “status quo” of local government in “that’s how it’s always been done, and the good ol boy system”.
Safety in all facets of our youth: Safe Schools, safer getting to and from school, housing and food insecurities, sidewalks, speeding, opportunities, crosswalks.
Growth rhat makes sense for Clarksville, TN. Removal of special interest influence. Facilitating infrastructure development first, an opposing view previously held. Create alternative housing options that are truly affordable.
Spending monies effectively. Removing wasteful spending and being mindful of the demographics within Clarksville and MoCo. Ensuring taxes are not raised without community input and involvement for what’s truly needed, not “pet projects” and/ or the things that benefit a few.
